The Chamber

The Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, Inc. (CFIP) was established in 1966 by nine furniture manufacturers and exporters. This non-stock, nonprofit organization. 

CFIP underscores that the main strength of the Philippine furniture industry is design, especially pieces that incorporate indigenous materials.

Today, CFIP remains one of the industry's strongest business support organizations

The Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines, Inc. is a National Association of companies, chapters and affiliates, working together for mutual benefit and the sustained growth of the Philippine furniture industry.

The Chamber of Furniture Industries of the Philippines , Inc. is the prime mover of the Philippine furniture industry working towards achieving sustained growth and global competitiveness, enjoying the full support of a satisfied and growing membership.

How to become a member

The Chamber offers three types of membership:

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP is open to firms engaged in the manufacture of furniture, furnishings, furniture components or accessories

Ÿ ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP is open to traders, service providers and suppliers of materials used in the furniture and furnishings industry

Ÿ CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP is open to associations of furniture/furnishings manufacturers at the sub-national level with at least twelve member-companies in its roster.

PROCEDURES FOR MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

 

  1. Mail or hand-deliver the accomplished membership form together with the following requirements to:

·        Accomplished Application Form

 ·        2x2 picture of both the principal and alternate representative

 ·        Photocopy of: SEC Registration or Business Name Registration (for single    proprietorship or  Articles of Incorporation (for Corporation) or Articles of  Partnership (for Partnership)

·        Updated company profile

·        Brochure or photos of products

·        Latest Audited Financial Statement

 

  1. CFIP will notify you for the schedule of factory or site visit.
  2. Assessment & Approval of application by the Board of Trustees.
  3. Upon advise of acceptance of application, payment of the following fees:

                   One-time entrance fee                              P 5, 000.00

 Annual membership dues                           5, 000.00

*Outright enrollment to Philexport

            for a fee of                                           800.00

                  Total                                                          P10,800.00
